What We’re All About​
H.I.S. Cornerstone was founded in 2011 by Robyn Horn after receiving her Master’s degree in Long-Term Care Administration and serving as a Nursing Home Administrator for 13 years. Her heart is deeply rooted in caring for the elderly, and what better way to extend care to the aging population than to help educate those caring for the elderly.
Specializing in the delivery of online CE courses and live CE webinars, we work with clients in the healthcare industry (i.e. hospice and home health agencies, nursing facilities, etc.) who serve as a liaison by scheduling our CE events at hospitals, facilities and restaurants in their area. We also offer staff inservices and caregiver support programs.

We have crafted a diverse range of continuing education courses with topics that cater to our clients’ direct needs. Not only do we have lists of expansive CE topics from which to choose, but we are also continually updating and writing new CE courses for our clients as new information becomes available.
As stated in our slogan, Quality Education is the Cornerstone for Quality Care, nothing is deemed quality unless it is crafted with proper education.
With education comes validity, and that is our goal –bringing rich information to healthcare professionals so that they may better care for their patients.
Meet Our Team
Morgan Taylor, CSA
Co-Owner | CE Director
Morgan Taylor received her Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M University in Communications with a minor in Business Administration. After caring for her grandfather in his last months of life, she became deeply passionate about caring for the elderly and the implications of being a family caregiver. Morgan became a Certified Senior Advisor to help assist the elderly in their care needs.
She oversees the company’s CE compliance, marketing materials and client CE requests.
Robyn Horn, M.L.T.C.A.
Founder
Robyn has a Master’s degree in Long-Term Care Administration from the University of North Texas as well as an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas.
She served as a licensed nursing home administrator for 13 years which included two years at an Alzheimer’s assisted living facility. Robyn has facilitated several caregiver support groups in both facility and community settings.
Magen Dixon, RN, BSN, CCM
Primary Nurse Planner
Magen Dixon received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from Baylor University. Her love for nursing began when she was in high school and she volunteered at the local hospital with her grandmother, who is now 101! In her 16 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, Magen has vast experience from the intensive care unit, to home health and Medicare Case Management.  Magen has always had a passion for working with the elderly and ensuring their needs are properly met.Â
She currently serves as HIS Cornerstone’s Primary Nurse Planner to help ensure our courses meet the LSNA and ANCC criteria. She also assists with the planning and implementation of new CE courses.
